The Mind and Hand Book is the official guide to MIT’s expectations of all undergraduate and graduate students.
The Mind and Hand Book is your guide to MIT’s expectations of your behavior as a student at MIT. This online edition of the handbook contains standards, guidelines, regulations, and procedures pertaining to academic integrity and non-academic behavior and policies for all undergraduate and graduate students, including those residing in Institute-approved housing, living groups, and off campus.
The Institute reserves the right to make additions, deletions, or changes to these policies at any time. The most updated version of The Mind and Hand Book is located on this website. This site was most recently updated in July 2019.
